To me, this is evidence that a) we can contend this year and b) Tannehill is our starting QB

That being said, we have given up the most points in the division...

Thoughts from the Tanne-haters?

Not a Tanne hater cus I believe he is still getting this Lazor Offense week to week Lazor has been a problem too so I have faith in tannehll and philbin. My chips are all laid down on Lazor and this O.

good test in GB coming and philbin's former employer.

got to get more out of passing game on 3rd down conversions and run the rock with authority if we are successful, dont stop whats working. A Lazor problem IMO.

It doesn't matter how many points we have scored. We're 2 and 2 and that's all that matters

Well usng that logic, I could say "we're in first place, and that's all that counts".

24 ppg is not that great.

Better the last several years though....not that it's saying much.

And we are only just learning how to use the Offensive weapons available. Charles Clay will be a bigger weapon when healthy. Knowshon to come back. Pouncey to return will further help Tannehill. Jarvis Landry can be good, etc...
In most of the past 15+ years the Dolphin Defense has been better at curtailing opponents than the Dolphin Offense has been able to put up big scores. We could be entering a new era when we finally have an Offense with the ability to score a lot of points. Early days but we have a lot more Offensive talent than I have seen before.

Moreno coming back, Clay will be healthier, Jones back, Pouncey back, Misi healthy, Jordan back....

I'm feeling very cautious optimism right now.

Debbie downers, OP is saying its a positive...it is. Is 4-0 better yes, is scoring 140 points better, yes. When it comes to the Gins there is always room for improvement so any light is encouraging.

We scored 91 points this year by this point & were 3-1, so what's your point?

I hope we keep this scoring up on offense and the defense tightens up but we will see how things go. We were feeling pretty good this time last year too.

Give it 16 games. I actually think our offense will improve over the course of the season, but it's also possible that as teams figure out what we're doing, we'll suffer.

only difference is by this time last year our o line was continuing to deplete. this year it does not seem to be an issue, and we are getting back our best o lineman at center. we also have a much more effective running game.

24 points per game is a modest amount, problem is that we are giving up 24 points per game.
It always happens that way. You score more, you give up more.

Reality check...when we actually played two good defenses, Buffalo and KC, they shut us down rather easily.
We scored the majority of our points against 2 bad defensive teams.
Don't drink the kool aid.
