The dwindling pool of unsigned draft picks is about to get even shallower.

According to a tweet from his agent, the Dolphins have signed sixth-rounder Cornell Amrstrong.

The cornerback from Southern Miss is the first of their picks to sign.

The Dolphins and Rams were the last two teams with all their picks unsigned, as the vast majority of picks are already taken care of.

Happy June 1, cap relief day, I would expect others to follow rapidly.

Minkah Fitzpatrick - DB - Dolphins
Dolphins signed No. 11 overall pick DB Minkah Fitzpatrick to a four-year, $16.4 million contract.

Fitzpatrick won the Thorpe Award as the nation's top defensive back last season at Alabama and can play safety, slot corner, and nickel linebacker. In Miami, he should challenge T.J. McDonald for safety snaps and Bobby McCain for reps in the slot. No matter what, he should be on the field plenty.

Albert Wilson - WR - Dolphins
Albert Wilson was a standout at Dolphins' OTAs.

According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins have been impressed with Wilson's versatility and believes he's capable of lining up outside or in the backfield as well as in the slot. "He’s really done a nice job the past two weeks," said WRs coach Ben Johnson. "His versatility is really, really showing up." Wilson has never been a big fantasy contributor but he'll have his best opportunity yet in Miami, where the Dolphins are looking to replace prolific slot receiver Jarvis Landry.

I can't even imagine what that must feel like to be signing a personal football contract at 21-23 years old. Your life is set with the stroke of a pen before you even really start adulthood. All minkah's extremely hard work paid off.

Everyone else is smiling...Minkah looks like this is distracting him from knowing everything there is to know about our defense and opponents.
lol....I was thinking along those same lines.

I think Wilson is going to surprise this year.
