Dolphins | Howard Headed to Bench?

<A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/22/nfl">Miami Dolphins CB Reggie Howard is in jeopardy of losing his nickel back role after he struggled in Week 3. Cornerback Eddie Jackson could be a possibility to replace Howard as the club's nickel back:woot:

hmm good move...hes costing us out there ..maybe this will light a fire under his *** and he will get his **** together

He could be headed to the street instead.

Oooh, I'm going to have to go on record to say that this looks like a BAD move. Howard is a streaky player and I think he may be due for a hot streak. Eddie Jackson just doesn't seem to have a whole lot going for him. I mean, I guess we could reserve judgement until we see more of him but the chances of him being more effective than Howard are pretty slim.

I asked this in another thread...

Where is Kiwakee and his progression? I'm hoping he at least dresses for in week 5... I'm guessing he hasn't seen any action due to the lack of familiarity with the system...

Eddie did have a nice pass defelction on Sunday though...

Howard just isn't getting the job done... plain and simple

honestly i believe that that scrub howard cost us two scores yesterday he couldnt cover his mother if he tried. great move by saban if he puts his sorry *** on the bench, the game wouldve been a blowout if it wasnt for him, the defense can play great but if one guy cant do his job then theyre just going to keep going after him.

Howard to me looks physically weak and slow. I think a sit and cut is in order. His backup looked alot more polished and at least hung with the reciever. Howard was trailing his man on every pass play. It looked like they were purposely throwing to his guy because they knew howard could not cover or tackle.

I'm afraid that Howard is the best that we have right now. If it's not Howard getting abused, it will be Jackson or Thomas.

"Howard is a streaky player?" If that's the case, he's been on a cold streak for two years. He's yet to do anything in Miami...and for that reason, he should be demoted.

At least we would have someone covering somebody! I have a practice cone that covers better then him!

What is less affective than getting beat every play? Giving up a touchdown everytime I guess, but just since we don't know anything about Jackson doesn't mean the team doesn't. He practices everyday, we just don't see him.

I am probably way behind on the power curve but can Will Poole return to play this season. I am not sure if he was placed on the IR or the physically unable to perform roster.
