For whoever thinks the dolphins are a long ways a way from being a good playoff team i couldnt disagree more. If you have watched the past two seasons did we not pick it up torwards the end. In 2005 we had the best win streak in the NFL i believe we won 6 in a row. In this past year yeah we lost a couple but torwards the end we won 4 in a row beating good playoff teams(one who is already in the Super Bowl). This can only say one thing it's not the players, thats coaching. Cam and Capers will have this team prepared from day one and not half way through the season.

The right direction does not include starting out slow and digging yourself in a hole.

We'll have to wait and see what kinds of decisions he makes before we can say whether or not he has The Dolphins going in the right direction.

like I said thats coaching not the players if we win games like that torwards the second half of the season thats coaching.

I agree with you. I think we can make the playoffs this year even with the hard schedule we going to have because cam and capers will have the team ready to play right out of the gate not half way through the seasn we just need to get some good play out of our quaterback and we will be ready.

It's going to be a much different team next year. We might have some growing pains...playoffs won't be impossible but they wont be easy either. The most important thing though is like you said we are heading in the right direction.

what does the phin dollars do and how many posts or how long u have to be a member to be changed from a rookie i am new to this website but its great and thanks for the help. Go Dolphins!!

Hopefully they can get this team rebuilt and we can make a run for the Super Bowl in 2009 when it will be back in MIA

Been the coach for two days and you already come to that conclusion, interesting.

Totally agree. As irrational as it would be for me to hate him (although I can make a case) its just as crazy for these people to be lauding him with "hes got us in the right direction" nonsense. I remember all of you Sabanites who insisted that Saban had us going in the right direction and just needed "more time" to finish the job.

The guy hasn't done a thing yet.

And when he does, let me offer you guys some advice. Take off your "team issued glasses" and look at the moves with a critical eye. Was this the best move he could have made? Have other similar moves by other coaches worked out well?

Many of you were "hood-winked" by Saban just because he was Saban and coaching your favorite team. I know its hard but try to take the emotion out of your analysis of the Fins.

Ask yourselves if the Patriots would make such a move? Would the Patriots draft such a player? Too many times we compare ourselves to the Cardinals and Lions. Thats not the direction we want.

I like the enthusiasm, like the energy. But let's not go crazy all over again guys. Don't set yourelf up for the big fall so that next year word of burning our new HC at the stake starts to circulate. This is what we Dolfans do. We sike ourselves out, believe it's a simple process. If it was so simple, the position would not command millions of dollars. Let's keep positive but grounded.

Buffalo, the Jets, are on an upswing ,and don't count the Pats out, this division is gonna be one tough division!
