Wow!!!!! Would have been great if they had done this last season!!!!!!

Weddle maybe?

I think that would be most teams first choice, and considering most players in Weddle's position target a contending team we probably wont see his interest. Maybe not my top overall choice but the safety with the best possibility of ending up here is Reggie Nelson.

And beyond maybe Gipson and McLeod we'd be better off just seeing what Aikens can accomplish his second year.

I could see Reggie Nelson because of our new DC. Weddle would probably cost a pretty penny but would love to have him.

I can't wait to see the plan they have on how to fill all these defensive needs. I wish we could just fast forward to draft week to see how FA worked out.

We're going to have to hope some young players steps up, there are just too many needs everywhere. If we start drafting better it sure would help lessen the problems going forward.

Let's see we need a starting safety and two starting CB's ( three if grime's is not resigned)

They better hit on some early picks at this position for a change and add a legit FA or two. Lots of work to do back there.

Yeah I don't know who they can get with our cap but I hope they don't don't do a Jamar Taylor audition would be Dallas Thomas type of move.

If Reggie Nelson becomes a free agent, you have to pursue that, but honestly it is gonna be real difficult to fill FS in FA. I wouldn't totally rule out gains by the guys we have in house either. Coyle was garbage.

May have to ride with what we have and resign Delmas for the vet minimum or an injury clause type of contract. I am rooting for that guy but he can no longer be depended on.

Won't next season be Aikens third year? I've seen enough

I agree. Reggie Nelson would be an upgrade! He is older but I think he can offer more than Grimes.

Reggie is a FS, if you lose Grimes, Miami needs 2 for sure starters and another guy for depth. The is a very weak group, counting on Bobby McCain in the slot is bad enough but to count on Lippet to take major strides is pretty insane . . . if it happens it happens, but it would be crazy to depend on it.

They cant be that naive right? Sure hope not. It has been reported that the FO wants 2 CB's, lets hope that is accurate and we don't get the 'we will be fine' talk after FA.and draft like with the Oline last year.
