Dolphins in the Red Zone

This shows me Flo knew what he was doing with putting together this staff. He knew at first he wouldn’t have explosive playmakers for big long TDs so he would have to be great in the red zone so he brought in O’Shea.

he knew he had talent at TE and WR but it needed to be cultured so he brought in Dorrell and Godsey both of which have a history of maximizing young talent.

He has a plan and it becomes more obvious how deep it goes if you are willing to look without tank for tua glasses

Apparently on the flip side the Patriots have fallen in that regard in red-zone TD's. An interesting denominator is that Chad O' Shay are current OC was there specialist for red-zone stuff when he was with them.

Yes that was discussed on WEEI Boston. Apparently McDaniels thinks very highly of Chad. Hopefully we are finally in good hands. I want to get excited and like what I see but I fell for Tony, I admit I never fell for Philbin, but also fell for Gase. I think that 1st year playoff thing gets me every time. So I was fooled 2 out of 3 times :=(.

That or he just knew he would have to surround himself by the most talented people he could find?
Also, people that had familiarity with how they did things with the Patriots.

Ultimately, it's going to be a wait and see approach...this could be fools gold or the beginning of something special.
I think some are taking that way too far...literally waiting until year 3,4,5 to decide if it's worth getting excited about..

FU%^$K That! I'm a fan and i'm going to start enjoying today!

What, that can't be correct. Omar can't find anything this staff has improved on...LOL

Omar was full on "tank for Tua", and he refuses to give credit where due, because the staff acually had the audacity to be competent, and good at their jobs, and ruin his grand delusion.

I have to admit, though, I do watch, and like the Xs & Omar videos every week.

The best time to judge GM and coaches is when they are expected to win - When they are under pressure to win Each and Every Game not when they gave themselves 3 years of runway to figure it out.

I do credit Flo for getting this team to think as a unit, and be in the position to succeed on most downs and to wear the underdog tag brilliantly.

And I sure hope we found something because it has been a long long long time since we had a coach I could believe in

Honestly with the Pats there are a few things...

1) The biggest reason is they miss Gronk. Even a beat up Gronk commanded double teams. If you doubled him, the other guys were good enough to best single or zone coverage.

2) The young guys arent developing. The only 2 players on New Englands offense Brady trusts right now are Edelman and White. Michel has not taken that next step and Harry is struggling with route concepts right now.

As for us? O Shea has done a lot to help create mismatches, and I've said multiple times that the All 22 film really shows that. Of course it also helps that our staff realizes that not only are guys like DVP, Williams, and Gesicki are not only tall but also are quick so we are throwing a lot more quick stuff

Is it foolish of me to be concerned about losing Oshea in the offseason? Because I would cry grown man tears....
I think we all would.
But I think for next season we should be safe. Loyalty to some extend is quite big in NE. And just as Grier/Flores pick their players with team first attitude I am sure they look at coaches the same way. I have the feeling that the entire coaching staff wants to see this rebuild through. Not sure about and it is more of a hope but I think that how it will turn out.

The offense is also quick routing other teams to death with short curl routes. The Patriots killed us year after year with that mentality. No surprise we are doing it now.
