Dolphins interested in DE Anthony Weaver

He would be a great 3-4 end and definetly an upgrade over Vonnie, 5 yrs. younger, but he may be much more expensive, if he comes cheap we may pick him up.

if he's that much than I doubt we would sign him, only if he would accept less which isn't likely
 
Weaver played high school ball from a city right by me, Some people I know have played against him.....it would be nice to see him in a Dolphins uniform

Why are you so certain that Weaver would be an upgrade over Vonnie Holliday? While the age is clearly a big plus.........Vonnie outplayed most expectations last year and I think that you may be underestimating him.

Long-term, most 25 yr old are gonna look better than the 30-something Holliday, but I;m not convinced that Weaver is a better player.

hes good....i think he can be a possible pro bowler with people double teamin JT..but i dont think he will come in here with the cap problems we got specially wen we need a QB....but if we did get him that would be great and we could rotate lall our d-linemen in and out and they would always be explosive.....
 
Weaver would be a nice addition at the right price though.
 
Weaver would kind of be like our Jarvis Green...a solid 3-4 cog in the machine but nothing to write home about or stop you from drafting 3-4 defensive linemen high in the draft like whoa.

I do not consider him better than Vonnie Holliday...but Holliday ain't young either, and he's only got a year left under contract.

Me too, He went to Saratoga HS. I missed playing him by about 6 years :tantrum:
 
if you take him in FA what do we do with Matt Roth? Turn him more towards OLB?
