Im glad we tenderd Eckel and Denney, as far as Withrow I guess he could be a solid back up for Hadnot.

We have been looking for a backup center since last offseason, so would seem like a decent fit. I remember him being a very respected backup offensive lineman when with the Vikings; a reliable guy to have around.

OT, but doesn't it seem that any time someone leaves the Dolphins, or any S. Fla pro team that they go or at least talk to a division rival

Would not be the least bit surprised if Bill and Mangini are calling the loser in Alabama for information about some of these guys.

god, why does everyone leave us and go straight to the bills, pats, and jets.

why?

David Bowens would be a real good signing for the Jets. I assume his contract demands will be modest, and he is a good ST player and situational pass rusher. I always liked DBow.

Well, the "Miami Mystique" has ran out. You're looking at this Top Down. You need to look at this Bottom Up.

Face the facts, we haven't produced an AFC Championship contender in a decade, or longer. We NEVER pay big money to Free Agents. We do not draft well. We underachieve every year. We're on our 6th coach (Bates, also) in the past 15 years. We only have 2 perrenial Pro Bowlers, both on Defense. Our attendence is offensive. Every new player must endure the legacy of Dan Marino, Don Shula and The Perfect Season. OH.... and the rain.

This ship went off course when Jimmy Johnson quit too early. I saw some of the writing on the wall when Olin Kruetz used us as ploy to get more money and stay with the Bears. That moment was our best shot to stay atop the "elite" bubble. Since then, we have never seen near the same offer ($5M/year for 5 Years) given to anyone in an effort to lure a big name FA into the fold. Ever since, we've began this horrid style of low balling players.

But, during that time, the scenery lost it's luster and now we no longer have the leverage or appeal to even allow us to deal on an even playing field.

Marty Booker cried when he was traded to us. It's time people wake up and smell the turd. We are not great. We are not good. This organization is at it's lowest point in 3 decades. It's time the fans sober up and realize.... it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Not raining on any parades.... just trying to tell the MC it's starting to sprinkle.... bring an umbrella.

WELL SAID!!

Why talk about the Dolphin Legends anymore, let's talk about the journeymen pick-a-part players we always sign around here....

all the CHUCK KLINGBEILS of the world...that is our true legacy for the past
15 years atleast!

I don't like this at all. This is all wrong. There are three excellent C/OG in the draft this year. Khalil,Satele, and Datish.

Toledo can play backup center. Hadnot is good but he isn't mean or nasty like Satele or a leader like Khalil.

The Cardinals cut there lousy center and there backup was worse. We should offer a trade of Harrington and Hadnot to the Cards. If they won't give us at least a 3rd round pick they are crazy.

"Hadnot is good but he isn't mean or nasty"

I am not trying to start anything here, but you are wrong about that comment! Hadnot was the only lineman down field trying to take defenders off the top of piles!( was flag for it atleast once or twice)Hadnot is the least of our worries as of right now!

He's better than Hadnot.

I was under the impression that he was a decent C. That would allow us to move Hadnot back to his best position of RG, moving LJ Shelton back to LT...That at least gives us a starting lineup...

Nathan...if things are so bad, you ought to find another team to follow....you might live longer...

He's better than Hadnot.
