Dolphins interviewed CAPERS in Jacksonville

question is....how many more do we interview before decision is made?

Must say something about how good they feel about him if they didn't make him come to Miami to interview.

I wouldn't mind seeing Dom back, but we HAVE TO hire an offensive genius as OC.

Tomlin is a minority as well is Rivera

although I back this team, I dont know about Capers as the head coach. He did a good job in carolina but stunk it up in Houston. And i think we have a better talent level on offense than Houston but only by a small margin. defense on the other hand, there is no comparison. but i would be afraid he wouldn't b able to do much better than Saban. He was a great d coordinator, why ruin a good thing?

I agree, although if Capers doesn't get the HC job, I'm not sure he would stay around as DC. We could do worse than Capers, but his two NFL head coaching stints ended badly.

I remember Mortensen saying on Countdown yesterday that Miami wouldn't begin to narrow down their finalists until next week. They might as well be as thorough as possible.

If we hire Capers, we could pursue Fisher and Cowher next year and possibly some other young coordinators. It wouldnt be the end of the world and in the long term it could turn out to be the best solution
