Dolphins linebacker Jelani Jenkins practiced again Thursday, while safety Bacarri Rambo returned to action. But cornerback
Byron Maxwell did not practice, leaving in doubt his availability for Sunday's wild-card playoff game in Pittsburgh.
"We haven't had him out to practice yet and we're still trying to figure out where we're at with him right now," Gase said of Maxwell, who has missed the past two games after suffering an ankle injury Dec. 17 against the
Jets. "We're running out of time if we have any shot for him. It's been a while since he's practiced."
Joseph added: "He's day-to-day. He's rehabbing hard. He wants to be out there. He's trying. We're not sure. But he's trying to play."
Joseph said that Rambo (chest) was sore but "should be fine to play a game," and Gase said Rambo was doing everything he can to be able to play Sunday.
