Well, sitting here in the first half of the early games, the Patriots are tied with the Panthers and have had a DB go down, and the Bills are getting beat by the Bucs. So this game today against the Jets could put us into first place in the AFC EAST if the Pats and Bills lose and we win. I know its still very early, but I wouldnt mind sitting alone in first after last season!

I do expect Edwards to have the Jets ready and fired up. It wont be an easy win IMO. I also think we had alot of emotion put into last weeks effort, and its always tough to maintain that level of emotion week after week. I think Saban is doing a fantastic job motivating our players, so hopfully we'll see a team that is a week better than last week and not a team emotionally drained coming off a big win.

Dolphins - Jets...it gets no better Dolfans!!!

Amen.

Patriots are losing 17-7 right now, and the Bills are pretty much getting dominated by the Bucs right now.

Big game? Yeah, we could have sole possession of the AFC East after today. Question is, does this team have the character to deliver when the prize is right in front of them for the taking. I have my suspicions, but I will not share them as I will likely get flamed by about fifteen thousand people.

That has been the Phins' collective character flaw for the past 20 years.

In situations like this is when you actually see the character of the team...can they prevail when a chance to lead is there? I'm kind of like you today about this game..and you're right, ppl won't understand. But the Jets had plenty of yardage last week, even with all misclues.

Bills are losing 16-3,
it could be a very good day for our Dolphins!

Both were winning teams last week, I hope we don't get bite by this bug..

I will say this much...if we play lights out I'm going to give all the credit in the world to Coach Saban.....

Well, the first half is over and I cant believe how we are losing. It seems like every little thing works against us. The Jets started off so poorly and we basically walked them in the endzone with our stupid penalties. JT is not playing with any discipline right now (last two games). His penalties have been VERY costly and he needs to get focused IMO.
I also dont know what is going on with our DL and pass rush in particular. Last week we spent the entire game on thier side of the ball attacking. This week we are sliding down the line of scrimmage and have offered very little penetration. I hope we come out storming in the second half like we did last week....

BTW - Does anyone else think Pennington's arm, is major suspect? C'mon fins...exploit him!
