I think Miller is a bit underrated around here... He`s no workhorse bonafide number one, but he had a great season in a pass first offense last year. Bottom line is he has far exeeded expectations at this point...IMO

Still hasn't developed any open field moves to get an extra 5 or more yards, just runs straight into safeties.

His initial burst is top tier in the NFL and he's fast. He's the type of runner you appreciate in a zone blocking scheme because he sees the cut and can gun it through the hole, really making your offensive line look competent in the running game.

His biggest issue is the deficiency in the passing game . . . he's not reliable there. He's never going to be a guy that breaks tackles with any sort of consistency and pass pro is not his thing.

He has a role in this offense, but a complete back like Moreno will easily shine over him early on. Not sure if we have that in Ajayi, but I'd give Miller the clear edge right now and he should get the bulk of the carries.

FYI, I really like Damian Williams also . . . my favorite RB on this roster.

Good! He sees the handwriting on the wall, and understands he needs to work harder and step up his game. He had a good year last year, but hopefully being pushed by Ajayi will make him even better, especially on check downs! If Ajayi blocks well and catches everything in sight, Miller better get used to some bench time.

The only RB with more yds/a was Forsett from Balt... He was tied for 8th in Rushing TDs...He got the longest rushing TD of the year... and he was 10th in overall rushing yards despite working withing a pass first offense.... Not saying he`s headed to the HOF... but its fair to say he has worked out quite well for a mid round pick...

I agree. He is also an ascending player and has done everything right. He's worked every off-season to get stronger and still has great top end speed. He was one of Ireland's better picks.

williams is legit. I think him miller and Ajax are a great young group. Willams can dot it all, miller and Ajax lol not so much..

I never said he didn't have a good year, just pointing out the obvious.

Like Kdawg said, his until burst is elite, he can find that crease and take off, but once he's out in the open field he doesn't do anything else to force a missed tackle, just lowers his shoulder into a S

That's a common misconception. Miller's 216 carries was #14 of all RB's in the NFL. He was a top 10 RB last year with an OL that was not VG.

I agree with the negatives in receiving and pass protect but, was much better the year before, I expect a great season
