Remember those days when the Miami Dolphins came out of halftime and sleep walked through the 3rd quarter?

Those days seem to be over. Be it the fact that we are behind and have no choice or the halftime adjustments we are tops in 3rd quarter scoring after 4 weeks.

We have scored 49 points in the 3rd quarter and only 47 in all the other 3 quarters. Ouch.

Points per quarter

1st - 10 (2.5 per game) Tied for 27-29
2nd - 27 (6.8 per game) 17th
3rd - 49 (12.2 per game) Tied for 1-2
4th - 10 (2.5 per game) 31st
 
Great half time adjustments it looks like but that 1st and 4th quarter is pretty bad
 
That's great and a tribute to our half time adjustments but those numbers for the 1st and 4th quarters really need some work.

So you're all excited about 3rd quarter points while we're near the bottom of the league in 1st and 4th quarter points and averaging less than 10 points in the first half, eh?

Not excited just stating the facts, I did mention that I had issues with the other quarters

Our average in the 3rd quarter is 12.2, We scored 14 against Oakland. Hardly an anomaly. More like the average to me,
 
Another thing to consider ... haven't we mostly started with the ball first in the 2nd half?

(can't remember for sure)

That was true in the 1st 2 games but we have kicked off in the 3rd quarter in the last 2.
 
Come back and talk to me when we are leading the league or at least in the top ten of scoring in all four quarters.

We are 14th in scoring offense at 24 points a game. At 10th is KC with 25.5
A whopping 6 more total point scored, you aren't asking for much.
