The
Miami Dolphins haven't won in New England since 2008. And that hasn't gone unnoticed by many players.
"I've been here seven years and I haven't won up there since I've been here,"
Pro Bowl strong safety
Reshad Jones said. "So, it is noticed."
To some, the Dolphins (0-1) have a prime opportunity to end that streak of frustration against the
Patriots (1-0) on Sunday at Gillette Stadium because New England will be missing a couple of key players, and might not have.
The Patriots won't have future Hall of Fame quarterback
Tom Brady (suspension) or Pro Bowl right tackle
Sebastian Vollmer (shoulder), and they might not have tight end
Rob Gronkowski (hamstring) or linebacker
Dont'a Hightower (knee).
So this could be the best opportunity the Dolphins have had to win in New England in years.
But Dolphins players don't want to get sucked into that logic.
