Dolphins looking to get Bennett from Saints

HOUSTON?!!? Casserly passes up on Bush, drafts a DE that likes to take plays off, and resigns. Class move Charlie, class move!
 
I'm mixed. I think Bennett's just a subpar RB. No better than Sammy Morris. I hope we don't give up any draft picks for Bennett.
 
Well, it wouldn't hurt to get another back...

He wasn't even the one that wanted Williams, the coach and owner went over his head, they said that on ESPN yesterday.

first of all, casserly let it be known that he was going to resign earlier this offseason. then the team officials all agreed to pass on bush in favor of williams. and he resigned yesterday. so what does he have to do with Bennett?
 
I'll pass on the injuried prone RB. He is good when healthy, but his problem is that he never can stay healthy for a full season. I have said this once and I will say this again. Morris is a good #2 guy and he was one of the few good offensive players in 2004 and I don't see why he won't backup Brown.
 
ill take him if its cheap. conditional 7th, 0r 6th. he is the fastest rb in football, can be explosive if healthy, is familiar with daunte
 
Houston has the following RBs on their roster:

Davis
Morency
Lundy
Smith

And they want to add Bennett?

When he is healthy Bennet is better than sammy.
 
There is no way in hell that we should give a pick for this guy..

Imagine being short a pick in the draft that just ended for Michael Bennet. There was value in every round. Come on, what has this guy done?

NO WAY IN HELL should we give a pick for this guy. NO WAY!!!!

WE DO NOT NEED ANOTHER RB....Ricky was a bonus not a necessity
 
Bennett is one of the fastest RB in the NFL, but he's injured all the time. IMO we don't need him, we have Sammy.

Mario Williams may end up being a decent player, but not picking Reggie Bush will bite that franchise right in the ***. That will be one of those Blair Thomas over Emmitt Smith / Todd Blackledge over Dan Marino deals in the future (even thought they don't play the same position).
