According to league sources, the Dolphins have had preliminary discussions about moving up from the No. 18 pick — with the goal of putting the franchise in position to land one of the top four offensive tackles in the draft.

There is buzz that this could be to get Jordan Love, where you get somebody like Simmons at 5. If they’re interested in Love, they may not want to use the 5th pick on him so they would maneuver around.

San Francisco wants a lot of picks because they really only have the two first rounders and then nothing until the fifth. So I would offer 18 and both of our seconds to get 13 and 31. Take a quarterback at five and one of the top for offensive tackles at 13 and then you can play around with 26 and 31 get the guys you want by trading back or whatever seems best.
