Did we tie up Preston to a long term deal ? We should be showing the kid that we are in his corner at this time. Don't think the injury will have long term effects on his game and we absolutely need to build around him in the wideout room.

Did we tie up Preston to a long term deal ? We should be showing the kid that we are in his corner at this time. Don't think the injury will have long term effects on his game and we absolutely need to build around him in the wideout room.

I'm sure he has a LOT of support including personal sessions / visits by Flo and Marvelous Marvin Allen
who targeted the kid -- and the best the org has to offer on the medical / rehab side. Odds are he
fully recovers and by start of '20 season is back strong... On the positive side this will give him
lots of time to work on his physicality and get stronger across the board.

Beyond that -- his contract situation won't be addressed until '21 -- after it's clear how his game
is progressing and pretty sure rookie contracts cannot be redone until a certain amount of time.

Right now he's super cheap but if everything works out he could be in for a nice pay day down the line.
