Who knows if it can happen but go ahead and string these tweets together. Imagine he and Seiler with Chop, Chubb, and JP coming in hot off the sides. Could keep Calais fresh too if he chooses to stay as he could just be part of the rotation. We have made numerous inquiries into him over the last three years so there has been a lot of interest.

Fingers crossed on this one.

And he has an injury history so he fits all requisite

Getting a little overboard with the injury stuff. Find me 53 guys to make a football team that have played 8 years and don’t have an injury history, it’s a violent game. Hes missed 12 games in the last 7 years, hardly injury prone and just about all of those were last year with a torn peck, it happens. Much different from like an armstead who’s missed that in the last 3 years.

Any idea on cost?

If they are making a run then I suppose just covering as he’s 30 and will probably want around 15-20 million. If Grier and Shore can pull a rabbit out the hat and get him for 8-10 then by all means that’s a fantastic signing but not sure how likely that is. Also looks awful if we leave Sieler at his like 11 million or whatever low salary he makes and we bring in a guy and pay him more when Sieler has been the heart and sole of this defense last few years and our best player on defense

Any idea on cost?

Coming off 18 million a year deal, open market and given what wilkins and the cowboys DT just got for being a 4 sack a year guy probably 20 million range. Coming off injury and older so hopefully less. Depends on the market, teams may be hesitant as it’s a historically deep DT draft class so maybe we get lucky.

Would be very surprised if this happened considering our cap situation and 5 other holes to fill.

Chicago, New England and a few others have tons of money to overpay.

Time will tell. Until then, it's Bobby creating interest in his tweets
