Wayne wants playoffs right well then let him and the staff grab his balls and do the following...

steps to the playoffs

1-draft okoyi DT louisville in the 1st

2nd- QB Drew stanton

Late 2nd trade for bly..we prob would have gotten TE or CB here anyway

3rd trade for moss...we would have probably got a WR if not for moss anyway

4th RD take a TE/FB/OL watever is best available..

sign some FA OL for depth
sign Hicks for back RB and KR role
we wont need WR's or defense with these additions so will fill in the rest..

also lets get lucky and draft a z.thomas in the 5th and a colstan in the 7th lol i wish ...

if thats not the truth i dont know what is..all of this is capable if they put there minds too it imo..

I actually think we should go offense with the 9th pick, not defense. Based on the fact that we're dumping so much offense right now and signed Porter....I think going for an offensive player would be a better idea.

but would you be happy if my scenerio plans out? wouldnt you agree to all this...its frustrating to here wayne saying ill do anything an then unload the team and only get porter with evryone gona already u know..wata bullcrapper wayne is..wheres his plain now?

Please guys, no playoff talk. It never worked in the past so let's try and reverse the playoff curse. We have a ways to go here in FA and the draft. Let's give it some time to play out

too many trades, we don't want Moss anyway

trade for Moss is too much, plus we would have pulled the trigger already if we were going to do it. He costs too much and he's too old. Were trying to get younger and faster not older and slower. We need to draft on the offensive side of the ball and we need to stockpile our picks as much as we can. Less than a handfull MIGHT pay off from the draft. It's not like were going to win out on all our picks. Offense. Offense. Offense.

I agree. I want Quinn. But would not mind if we take an OL or WR. :dolphins:

YES we DO want Moss if it keeps the Pat's from getting him. Plus he would be an upgrade to our recievers.
TRUST ME the last thing we want is for Brady to be hooking up with MOSS. That would be the worse thing in the world for us. or better yet the AFC east.

With that in mind. I think it will take more then a 3rd for us to get moss since NE already is looking to make offers. I would trade our 9th pick to oakland for Moss and their 2nd round pick.
sound crazy at 1st but we would then have 3 2nd round picks where most of the talen is in this draft. @ 9 all we would be positioned to get is either a great safty or a good DL. with 3 2nd round picks we could get a good dl/qb/and ol.

Oakland would have a hard time refusing that trade. they can then take Johnson the wr with the 1st overall pick and watch russell or quin fall to them @ 9
not a bad trade for either club.

finally someone thinking smart like me!!!

FYI i think 3rd is more than enough for raiders

Very unlikely.

We're stocking up on draft picks for a reason. To build through the draft with young talent, the way it should be done. Playoffs are pretty unrealistic this year.

I agree our defense is way better than our offense, but who? Levi Brown will be the only offensive option on the board that isn't a huge reach, he's only a small reach. I doubt Quinn drops. We would have to trade up or go with Brown. Better defensive players will be available and we still have needs all over.

I like Okoye but with the resigning of Holliday, he is not a need or may not even be the best player available I say we go Quinn, Branch, Brown or Ginn, Jr.

Drew Stanton? I don't know. There's just something about him that screams...Proceed With Caution.

Dre Bly? We are not involved in this situation. He apparently had an agreement with Washington already in place and was hoping to get traded there. Similar to what Harrington did last year with us.

Moss for a 3rd? If Al Davis was going to get rid of him so cheaply, Moss would already be in Green Bay or NE.

With the few extra picks we have this year, we should trade up with DET or TB and draft Calvin Johnson. Not only would this be a huge offensive step, but we get the best player in the draft by far. I know it will take alot to trade up, but for a guy like this who comes around once every 10-15 years, its worth it. He will make an IMMEDIATE impact.

Oakland is not going to accept a 3rd round offer and thats what they would have to accept to be able to dump him on someone. Al Davis gave up so much to get him and won't accept any less then a 2nd rounder which the Pats don't have

listen i know moss n bly are longshots im saying with should court them thats all ...send offers out ..that wont hurt i mean if they send a statement out on espn and says fins contact raiders and denver for moss/bly offering late 2nd for moss and 2nd or 3rd for bly will it excite you or scare you..id be happy ..

ps

as for builing through draft the wilkonson thing is not official ok so as it looks if my scnerio happened it will be like this..we still have plenty of picks left ok

draft
1st round..okoye/branch/L.Brown
2nd round to denver for BLY
2nd round late- trade to raiders for MOSS
3rd STANTON/edwards
4th round-OL/TE/FB
5th round-OL/TE/FB
5th round possible from someone for mare
6th round from denver for big daddy wilkonson
6th round-OL/TE/FB
7th round-OL/TE/FB
7th round-OL/TE/FB from pats for welker

wished we got a 3rd for mcmichael damn lol
