Quentin Moses tried unsuccessfully to mimic Jason Taylor's long-arm technique forever, going back to his high school days.

When playing for Oakland early last season, Moses said his position coach had the defensive ends study film of Taylor's bread-and-butter pass rush move.

But as much as Moses studied the straight-arm shove used to shed an offensive tackle in pursuit of an opposing quarterback, he couldn't get it right until he received a few tutorials from the master himself.

"I learned more from Jason last year in the little bit I played behind him than I learned the whole time I've been playing the position," Moses said. "And I'm talking college and high school. He's such a mentor, tries to help people get better. And I never had to ask."

If they want a fairy that would trade them for Brady then I don't want them either. Anyone that has worked their tails off all summer while a punk in front of them at their position dances the night away like a little school girl don't have much of a competitive edge or ability to make a impact. Cut them all.

I would say I will only comment on my TEAMMATES that have been working their ***** off all offseason with us and not causing distractions and wanting to trade my team for their boyfriend.

:err: I wonder if Giants fans were so PO'd when Strahan just decided he wasn't going to show up until about preseason without any good rhyme or reason last offseason.

When did Strahan ever lie about his priorities and say he would trade his team for Brady during that offseason. Also when did he taunt the FO and cry to the media about someone not wanting to talk to a fairy that felt he could act the way he has?

Good question. Here's another one; When did Jason Taylor ever answer to you? He's not some hack who couldn't cut it in the NFL like the Boz. He's paid his dues, and I could give 2 loaves what he says (or supposedly says, considering the references you're bringing up) to the press. If he is on the team at the start of the season, I'm all for it. If he's not, then we move on without him, and I personally wish him luck, whether he wants to be an actor or play on another team.
Seriously, stop acting like he owes you something.

To be fair, the Boz was actually a very good player who probably would have lived up to a lot of the hype if he hadn't gotten hurt. IHe may not have been able to handle Bo Jackson, but it was Bo Jackson. That's like a left tackle not being able to handle Lawrence Taylor. It's the same thing with Yatil Green. It's a case of the nature of the game. You never know when someone is going to show up and blow out their knee or something. I hate to call someone a bust for a career ending injury.

Come on now don't you think this post was a little uncalled for. I bet you are one of those fans that loved him a few years ago when he lead the entire league in sacks, and now that he misses some voluntary practices you turn your back on him, nice.

In my opinion it's cool if your frustrated w/him but let's give a guy that has played his heart our for this team for 11 years a little more RESPECT.

That just absurd, these guys are freinds and unlike you this is their job and today is Jason having issues with his team, tomorrow it might be him. Players will usually back up each other, just like co-workers usually do in a regular company.
Why is it that so many fans think that football should be everything for these players????? For them it's a job, just like your job, when you cant wait for your days off to come around or the weekend, it's the same thing.

Fair point. I shouldn't have called him a hack. I would have had a much easier time finding a reference point if Ryan Leaf had decided to dabble in action movies...
