seems like the dolphins play well outside the division and have had terrible divisin records, need to start beating our division foe's and at least go 4-2 to have a shot at the playoffs.the dolphins beat teams during the regular season that go to the super bowl. time to take the division back tired of losing

Heck, I'd considered going 3-3. We always seem to go 1-5 or 2-4. But you are right, the division is a must to take care of.

well said phinsfan , i couldnt agree with you anymore. i think we have a really bad losing record against the jets if i am not mistaking . are we not something like 4 14 against them ? i still think we should move to the afc south and develope new rivials.
i would for us to win the afce east and go to a couple of superbowls before i die or vote for hilliary clinton.:cooldude:

I beleive that the jets and Bills swept us last year the loan win was against the Rats. We do well agaist good teams. Its the games we should win that we eventually lose.

addition to this

we nearly won against the steelers

then we lost against the bills :fire:

then we barely beat tenn :err:

then we lost to houston.:boohoo:

then we won against the bears.:cooldude:

then we lost against the jets:fire: :tantrum: :fire:

then we lost to bills again :tantrum: :shakeno:

so yea we need to play better against the division rivials

At 6-10 we simply need to win more games! Hopefully, a few will be within our own division.

AGREED.... I damn near kicked my TV in during those losses, especially the Bills games! I'm too old for that crap, but I really snap when we lose to our division rivals... Lately it seems as if it's getting worse
We just need to start winning on a consistant basis and i'll shape up.
Those 5 losses were tough......

I agree......but also use the hot sunny Miami weather to our advantage....getting longer runs and breaking tackles against tired defenses in the 3rd & 4th quarter!.... basically win everytime at home

That right there is the reason i am Loving the schedule this year. Bill not having to go to MIA until Nov

We seem to always play stupid against the Jets.....damn, I hate them. We seem to play pretty well against the Patsies, and usually split with the Bills. I also think we need to go at least 3-3 or better against our division.

If we have to go to New England and Buffalo in Dec. Then they should come down to hot humid MIAMI in Sept. It's only fair right? Those are thought divisional games and we have to play in the $#%*&^# snow!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I think it is a huge disadvantage being geographically separated from the rest of the division. Not only do the Fins have 3 times as many lengthy trips within the division, they have the added disadvantage of trying to build a team around their home field advantage of the heat and humidity as well as needing the team to do well in the Northeast in winter. The Bills, Jets, and Pats can all gear their teams towards play in the Northeast.

I understand the desire to maintain rivalries, but the division layout is STUPID and detrimental to the team.

I couldn't see us not playing the Bills , Pats, and Jets. As much as it hurts loosing to those teams. Feels so good when we beat them especially in Dec. I just think they should schedule those teams to come down in Sept. I think it evens things out a bit.
