It was reported that he visited, but according to Alex Marvez on WQAM, we are negotiating with Eric Green today. Looks like we may sign the guy.

For what is worth, Marvez seems to think the kid can play and just needs an opportunity.
 
As I have watched Green it isn't that he can't cover. He just gambles too often to try and make the big play. Gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar you might say. He has skills just has to be more disciplined.
 
Cardinals fans say the guy is God Awful. Not sure why in the heck we would want him unless we want a guy who gets torched all the time.
 
There goes bodden but whatever hope he can play if we do sign him nothings been official yet....

More than likely it would be another whiff. 1st whiff Josh Mcknown, Second whiff Ernest Wilford, Third whiff anyone? Do you have a link by the way?
 
I would just like to point out that Andre Goodman was burnt consistently before this year, and quite honestly, for much of the first half of the year. I think Todd Bowles is one of the best secondary coaches in the league, so I'm curious to see what he can do with Green, who has solid athleticism. Do I expect him to be the answer? No. But at the same time, I have watched the NFL long enough to know that some guys that you expect nothing out of can become really valuable players. As bad as Cardinals fans say he played for them, it doesnt necessarily mean he wont be a fit in Miami.
 
You can listen to the interview for yourselves on WQAM.com. He didnt say a signing was imminent or anything like that... all he said was that we were negotiating with him, and that he was weighing offers from a few teams.
 
this guy has reggie howard written all over him, bet we pay him more than bodden will get.
 
:lol: This thread is hilarious. So the guy is a combination of Reggie Howard and Ernest Wilford because some Cardinals fans say he cant play?
 
at least he is better than jason allen
 
right now i dont think it really matters, we just need to sign cbs cuz with moss and welker, to and evans, and cotchery....if we dont sign another cb and draft 1 o2 we are screwed...but like ive said before,....in tuna i trust...
