Dolphins Offense Dangerous?

Good yes. Dangerous? Wait until we get our franchise QB.

-The offensive line went from one of the most penalized and ineffective units, both in pass protection and run blocking, to one of the more consistent lines in the NFL. They allowed only 6 sacks in the final four games of the season and paved the way for two straight 100-yard performances by Ricky Williams to end the season.

Im still suprised at how well our OL ended up doing

C'mon now, you were what, 10? 11? When Danny was still lighting it up for us!

Yeah, and then the past 5 years we've gone straight down the poopshoot... Finally, something to look forward to....

In Other Words.... its nice to have an offense to be proud of instead of just a defense...

The only way the Miami Dolphins' offense is "dangerous" right now is if some of them put a steel can in the microwave in the team locker room.

But that is about to change....

Ricky and Ronnie.... Chambers, Booker, Welker, and McMichael.... Gus throwing 3000 yards with 18 TD and 13 INTs as a makeshift QB who has still been better than any QB we've had since Marino.... the worst OLine in the league only allowing 6 sacks the last 4 games......... finishing with 6 straight wins............. At the moment you dont think we have a dangerous offense.... I disagree

When since Marino could you really say our offense was a threat except for now?

No, at the moment, we don't. You have to score a team on execution, not merely potential. Note I ended the sentence by saying "but that is about to change". If the potential is tapped into, you have a point. But I don't think being ranked #14 on the year constitutes "dangerous". Although the improvement in the second half of the year is surely something to be excited about.

No offense run by Gus Frerotte is dangerous. Its amazing how low the standard is after Marino left at the Qb position. Im not asking for anyone to be Marino but damn when having the 30th ranked Qb is dangerous we have set our sights way, way too low.

cmon man, what have you seen that makes you think Saban isn't smart enough to know these things. If you and I can see it I'm confident it has his attention. just think how tough we will be when he does. I think that's why he brought in Mueller, because he is QB savy. Also note that was the first subject addressed in his last PC.

Man I pray that you are right but something tells me that we will spend a 2nd day pick on a Qb and start Frerotte, and miss the playoffs again. Ive been able to see the Qb situation was terrible since Fiedler showed up but that never changed. Sometimes coaches think, especially defensive coaches, that you can win with ballcontrol and a 'game-manager' 'caretaker' (I HATE those terms, basically this is saying, "he sucks" to me) at Qb, I hope Saban is smarter than this.

I have to agree. Until we get that final and most important cog, the offense will not reach it's full potential.
