Dolphins OL Was Worse This Year

Hard to believe but true. The only guy on the OL who graded out higher that everyone on last year's OL was Albert.

If you just want to look at pressure, we gave up 34 sacks, 50 hits, and 144 hurries. Last year was 51- 42- and 131. This does not include team sacks but overall pressures were higher, a bet I thought I lost earlier, and did not want to win.

We were just horrible. RT and Miller played well in spite of this OL, not because of it.

Hickey couldn't fix the OL in one season. That just tells you how ****ed it was when Ireland was in charge.

its funny that we keep getting these 'oline" back grounded head coaches but their decisions up front are god awful.

it was bad. thank god ryan was better at getting the ball out quicker. we have to fix the interior on both sides

Actually, giving up 17 less sacks is a big positive, even if there was a bit of an increase in hits and hurries. May have more to do with scheme than oline performance though...

The line was more than decent before Albert got hurt. Not much you can do after that. Sunday the wheels just completely fell off by having Jason Fox and Billy Turner as your bookend tackles with an already highly questionable interior line.

Yeah, I'm sure a lot of potential sacks were avoided by RT throwing quick, short passes, as well as some hits and hurries.

The line was more than decent before Albert got hurt. Not much you can do after that. Sunday the wheels just completely fell off by having Jason Fox and Billy Turner as your bookend tackles with an already highly questionable interior line.

That and Pouncey had a big impact, as did Bully Gate last year, and picks and FA signings which have not worked out for years. Seems like there is a black cloud over our OL.

On paper the line may have been worse with pressures but this line was clearly better than last years since we could actually run the ball where last years line couldn't even do that much...baby steps I guess.
