Dolphins Opt-In on New Blackout Rule

So now you are advocating paying $25 to watch the game on tv while checking out beautiful women ? I can do that at home.

I think the $25 / ticket is a good deal, but I don't blame anyone for not being thrilled about the view from the cheap seats.
let me be clear on this, If I paid 25 per game per ticket my ass would be in the seat. I can't say what someone else would do, maybe they would enjoy being in the lounge or maybe they would enjoy the seats. FYI you can enjoy the game and the women from either the seats or the club.

NFL Network commentators stated ... They were looking at the stadiums of all the games & Miami had the most empty seats by a huge margin. Commented Ross must have bought an awful lot of tickets at 38 cents/dollar to televise the game ... and will he continue to do so.

Said they were surprised that Jax had substantially more fans at their stadium than Miami.

Are you talking about tonight? I'm not trying to start a cause or make excuses for dolphins preseason attendance but the weather in so. florida was horrible tonight. How many NFL cities had severe thunderstorms floating around the games tonight?

Ye but you want to see the game, what does them seat's look like.............

believe it or not , u actually have a great view from the upperdeck. I have sat up there before, as long as u have 20/20 vision its great!

Yes ... they said that before the game on NFL Network. (They were showing video of the stadiums ... sure they didn't know about storms/weather.)

Good point. Don't know how that affected attendance ... may have. Were those storms coming through before the game ... and will people stay home if they've bought a ticket??

Everyone has all of these great ideas on how to sell tickets.

Why don't we try winning for change and see what happens.

It's August in Florida, thunderstorms are a daily procedure this time a year. They come and go quick, but are most guys going send spend 30 bucks or more on a ticket to a meaningless game that their wife/mistress/girlfriend might get their $500 gucci purse or their weave ruined in a phantom storm? Doubtful.

I've been to many jax/miami preseason games in jax when it poured and game was delayed for lightning. Most fans leave but i have always stayed.

It poured here and in Miami. Do you wanna sit in humidity and rain to watch game 1 preseason? I don't..the rain is fine but once mixed in with that humidity..gah. You just wanna go home really.

If we also start winning more we will fill the stadium. To be honest I actually woke up today somewhat excited about Dolphins football again, somewhat. I liked what I saw out of Tannehill..but..we'll see. If we win we sell tickets, and we haven't done that in over a decade.

It also probably doesn't help though there are tons of people moving to Florida every year, meanwhile the people who live here and/or grew up here want to get out. If they win they might actually be able to get some younger fans, and get rid of our uniforms. They look worse this year for some reason. There is a reason (not saying they should, just why) college changes up their uni's, etc. Some more extreme than others...

I'm sure people can't be too suprised that some people, believe it or not become fans of teams just cause of the way they look or their logo, and then the team kind of grows on them.
