MATCHUP DOLPHINS SHOULD EXPLOIT

Dolphins LG Justin Smiley against Patriots DE Mike Wright: With starter Jarvis Green undergoing knee surgery that will keep him out this week, and with incumbent Richard Seymour traded to Oakland before the season opener for a 2009 first-round draft pick, Wright will make just his eighth start in four pro seasons. Wright does have a team-high four sacks this year, but Green has 27 in his career.

MATCHUP THAT SHOULD CONCERN DOLPHINS

Dolphins rookie CBs Sean Smith and Vontae Davis vs. Patriots QB Tom Brady: Facing the Dolphins for the first time since blowing out his knee at the start of last season, Brady won't be seeing veterans like Will Allen on the corners. Instead, he has talented but inexperienced young pros in Smith (who grew up idolizing Patriots WR Randy Moss) and Davis, who made his share of plays and mistakes in his first career start Sunday at the Jets.

Again turnovers will win this game. If we can run the wildcat and keep them off the field that would be great too.

Here is more of my thoughts on how we win this game:

For us I think we need to do several things. . Keep up that run D we are known for and BLITZ Brady. . we all know that under pressure Brady panics and gets scared, throws the ball short or throws it for a pick.
His best games this season have been against the Titans who are truly awful this year and the Bucs in London where even there he threw 2 picks.
We need to get pressure from everywhere. . Roth; Taylor; Wake; Porter need to keep him sweating and lastly we need to do something positive in that red zone. . TDs against this NE team not FGs. .

I cant ask our secondary to do much as Davis and Smith are likely to get burnt if Brady is given time. we need to keep Brady busy to help those corners. . Moss and Welker could have big numbers otherwise. .

"we all know that under pressure Brady panics and gets scared, throws the ball short or throws it for a pick".

Thank god it took the rest of the NFL 7yrs to figure that out. If teams had blitzed & hit him from 2001 thru 2007, he would have sucked and the Pats would never have won even one SB.

:)

If we can keep the the pass rushing for the whole game and not only the first half of the game, I think we will be good. Their running game is not great we shouldnt have a problem. We just gotta keep Wes Welker in check with the inside routs they love running, same play we keep getting burn game after game after game.

I'm not worried about our CB's as much as our schemes that allow QB's clean pockets and leave the middle of the field WIDE OPEN.
