Surprised to see shell in the 60s. I thought he was a stud yesterday. Rousseau is a force and was largely nullified by shell. He really impressed me.

I think phillips will be an all pro mainstay in a couple years. He’s a force.

I saw a few posters talking bad about Chubb. Is he really that bad? Watching him in the past and scouting him in college, he seemed to flash, but then disappear for stretches (which isn’t that uncommon). The flashes were outstanding though.

Chubb has 5 sacks for us since coming over I think. He’s been exactly that. Splash plays and streaks of invisibility. That said, the pass rush has gotten home more since he came over. Not sure if that’s coincidence

Howard.... significantly worse than our UDRFA LOL
How so? He plays against the other teams best each week. Diggs was a non factor. Kohou got the PI that lost the game if we’re being honest.

Edit - I realize you meant on the season / had a brain fart and thought we were taking about the Bills game - my bad

I'm pretty sure he only has 2.5 since he came over. Guys are getting home more often, and maybe that's because of Chubb, but it's not like he's getting doubled every play, or even most plays.

Shell’s grade is hurt severely by the two games we tried playing him at LT. He had grades of 43.9 and 45.3 in those two games. Those are his lowest graded games.

And I watched Chubb specifically all last game on defense bc I’ve been concerned we made a mistake trading for him. On pass rush plays, it honestly seemed like once he engaged with the OT it was not going anywhere. I didn’t see him pull any pass rush moves and he wasn’t really ever blowing past the OT. He was also not regularly getting doubled. Seems kind of sluggish out there tbh.

Outside of the play at the very end of the 2nd half where he chased Allen (who made a spectacular play to score) and a QB hit later in the game, he was pretty invisible.

I desperately want him to work out, but I’ve watched enough of him that I am concerned we wasted a 1st and 20+ mill on a non-impact player.

It is worth noting he had a 74.9 grade while in Denver and has had a 56.9 grade with us. Is our scheme/Boyer the problem? Phillips isn’t having issues w it, but he isn’t new to the team and is definitely a stud. Anyone have an opinion there bc I’d prefer not to believe the issue is Chubb is just mediocre?

I have a die hard Broncos fan friend who said basically what you're saying. Also, not the same since he got hurt. I was excited to get him and I'm hoping he works out but not worth the price tag at the moment for sure

You’re right. I had it backwards. He had 5.5 on Denver and 2.5 w us

We're all down on Chubb, but Ingram did not have a good game. Josh Allen rolled right a bunch in this game when Ingram was over there and lost contain. The last play of the half really killed us. I know the guy has been a warrior, but Allen always roll right when flushed out of the pocket. We have to do something different. Melvin couldn't keep up.

Just to follow up, I have to say Duke Riley was a **** show on Saturday. He's got to get better.

Ingram is older and I don’t expect as much from him. But we need more from Chubb.
