Dolphins placed rookie defensive tackle Anthony Johnson on IR

Wish he'd seen more playing time. Kid's got talent. Were were unusually healthy last year. We needed to take advantage of it at the time. Inevitable the other shoe would drop. It's a shame it had to happen now that we have a vastly superior GM.

It is the curse of Kevin O'Neil. He never should have been blamed nor fired. Plus, he was a great trainer.
 
I think the Packers had 16 go on injured reserve in their 2010 championship year. Next man up worked for them. Of course they had Rodgers and an offense that scored 46 TD's while the defense allowed only 24
 
I think the number of players on IR isn't that unusual. We have had a pretty good run in recent years and maybe it is catching up to us.

Our issue currently is a lack of depth.
 
And those 13 doesn't include the number of injured players we have on our 53 man roster right now: Charles Clay, Koa Misi, Jelani Jenkins, Jonathan Freeny, Chris McCain, Jamar Taylor etc. etc.

The cardinals have had some bad luck with injuries and are 11-3

......I guess the coaches have stayed healthy enough to use what they have to overcome...
 
Season ha been over for a week so this is really a non issue. I feel bad for him from a pain injury standpoint but in terms of football this has no bearing whatsoever on the season
