Dolphins Power Rankings roundup

ESPN said if he puts on tape what he did in 2020, uh you mean one of the most efficient and good rookie seasons ever. He didn’t do what Herbert did but who cares I honestly think that’s Herberts ceiling, may cut down on ints but Herbert is kind of who he is and likely will have ebs and flows while I think Tua could shoot up and plateau well above him.

Kid only played 9 games, and was ineffective in several of those, with the AZ (maybe KC) game arguably being the only "dynamic" outing. There were reasons for that, but it is what it is.

We are Phins fans so we have a vested interest, and most times affected by emotion. National media only call them as they see them.

We also pay a lot more attention to off-season/pre-season stuff than most media, without coming up with catchy headlines for clicks.

Yes, but it often has the very same emotionally biased views.

For example, take a player like Eich. Personally, I liked the pick, but you have ppl here saying things like "day one starter", "plug n play", "Davis blows, put the kid in there". All homer takes, because if he were that dominant and ready to go (as Flo sees it), he would be starting.

Unlike the Miami media I think these ratings are pretty fair

I want to know what Tua you were watching to think he actually played efficiently overall.

He looks awesome this preseason but last year he was more or less a turd.

Please...

Do you believe there is some odd deep seated hatred for the dolphins from the national media?
Do you need to strawman the **** out of that question?

There's a big gap between having a deep seated hatred for the Dolphins and the media "calling it like they see it". I mean, it's pretty simple as there are plenty of examples that have been posted on this forum recently where people AREN'T picking the Dolphins to make the playoffs because they say they can't believe in Tua (fine, whatever), but then universally throw the Patriots into the playoffs because Mac Jones is like... totally the greatest I suppose. The hypocrisy is blatant and it most definitely is not them being objective.
