Next week, the Dolphins will have several prospects in for private workouts in Miami.

On March 29th, Mississippi guard Doug Buckles will workout for Miami.

The date hasn't been stated, but Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams will work out for Miami next week.

On March 30th, Miami will work out six Georgia prospects. My guess is, they will look at David Greene, Fred Gibson, Reggie Brown, Odell Thurman, David Pollack, and Thomas Davis.

can't wait for the Doug Buckles buzz to start building

Do you think that Saban doesnt want to draft Benson since it seems like he isnt interested in him at all?

WILLIAM PENN, IA (March 22nd) senior tight end ANDREW STOKES (#8) ran between 4.71 and 4.75 in the 40... some had him with faster times... 4.20 short shuttle... 6.98 three-cone... 34" vertical... 9'11" broad jump and also did 22 reps of 225 pounds... weighed in at 6042, 253 pounds... a total of seven teams were in attendance, as Miami led the way with three representatives

ILLINOIS STATE (March 17th) senior quarterback YANCE VAUGHAN (#18) ran between 4.85/4.92 in the 40... pulled up with a tight right hamstring... 29" vertical... 9'2" broad jump... weighed in at 6026, 213 pounds... 31 1/2" arms... 9 1/2" hands... scored between 35-38 on his Wonderlic... did a full positional workout... has a quick release, gets the ball out of his hands quickly... very good velocity on his balls... throws a good deep ball... smart decision-maker... audible/called his own play a fair amount in college; also made the line calls... Minnesota, Eastern Illinois, Western Kentucky and Indiana State are very good tapes to view on him... suffered a separated throwing shoulder (right), injured his right elbow and sprained his MCL... but his toughness and intangibles are very noticeable... Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Miami, NY Giants and Tennessee have shown him more attention

the private workouts with playres are usually after the prodays... the dolphins had these visits scheduled before the texas pro day, so maybe now afterwards we'll see if benson comes in for a private workout, ima guess he is being that saban wasn't at the pro day cause of the meetings...

Looks like the Dolphins are looking at alot of QB's....lately.
They also have been checking out a lot of WRs and RBs. Saban is covering everything, and just because he takes QB prospects out to dinner doesn't mean we will draft one.

Ya know, benson hasn't honestly been on our radar since FA started.

In the private Auburn workout for the Dolphins on next Wed. I also know that DE Bret Eddins and DT Jay Ratliff will be involved as well. They are both sleepers to some extent, but they are solid players who definitely could be late round steals, here is some info from Auburn's pro-day if you are interested:

"Another strong performer was Eddins, who measured in at 6-4 4/10, 271. He ran times of 4.80 and 4.87 in the 40 and was strong in the 20-yard shuttle drill and the three-cone drill, which measure change of direction and balance."

"The biggest surprise on the scales came from defensive tackle Jay Ratliff. Ratliff spent the majority of his last two years at Auburn trying to get up to 280 pounds. He never did, playing most of the time at or around 270. On Monday, Ratliff weighed in at 293 pounds on his 6-foot-3, 1/2-inch frame. He also ran an impressive 4.85 40-yard dash, had a 33.5-inch vertical leap and did 225 pounds 26 times on the bench press, although two of them were eventually discounted."

You should keep an eye on these two guys, they have been good ones for Auburn the past four years and Saban invited them to the workout so obviously he is interested as well.

David Pollack is going to be a great DE in the NFL, he's like another JT almost
