Doesn't seem logical to promote a RB if it's to replace Jackson or Smythe...I suppose Grant makes the most sense. But does this signify the beginning of the end for Grant?

I would think he's looking like a stellar special teams player in practice?
Or maybe he's just a ST's player? I agree it can't be to replace a TE or a LT. That'd make no sense.
What are your thoughts on Ahmed?

So we have 6 RBs and 7 WRs on the roster now? Weird use of 53 man roster.
Well we really only have 2 running backs on the roster who can run. Howard needs to be replaced maybe this is a look move. You have our full back and Laird. Laird is a ST. So we really need 3 Gaskin and Breida are not power backs. Neither is this guy based on weight and height. Thoughts everyone.

Well...I guess Howard is not getting much playing time anymore? Not that he was getting much as it is but....well..at least his stats couldn't possibly be worse than Howard's unless his stats go like 2 carries for -5 yards.
