I like to start off by saying it has been great watching good football again. So i drove down to LA with MY 15 and 8 year old sons. Im in Sonoma county.
We head to the stadium around 930 Sunday. We meet many fans and make new friends. Tailgate in full effect. My 8 year old was low on energy but chugged along. Just before game time he is jacked up ready and yelling. Well we sat there in the rain and he was not very happy. At 6 min i said lets go down and see if we can get really close. We got to the 30 yard line Miami side 5 rows back. I started getting that section pumped up, some players nodded and Defense comes up big.
Now Miami
has energy and makes a huge drive for the first Td. Crowd got louder for D. Bam we get it back and score the second one. My 8 year old was screaming and getting super pumped, Now he is on cloud nine for his first game. My buddy gets a text from his friend that we are on tv. The crazy game is over and we are so happy Miami gets 5 in row. Rams fans are shocked and quite. The next day I get a notification from Miami Dolphins about something. Its a video and at the very end my handsome boy is in his marino, shades on and has his flag. It was so awesome to see him excited about the win, then we got on tv, then he's on a video. My kid is stoked right now. First game for him and all this happens. It was truly a great moment to share with him. Keep winning Miami we LOVE it.

Glad that you had a great time :)

Wow! Congrats! It's tough to get more thrills than that out of one ball game. It was one of the greatest finishes of all time!!

Poor kid had to wait 55 minutes to even see any football being played. No doubt it ended up feeling worth it and now is a great story forever!

You never forget your first "time," in this case, "first game." Indelible positive memories for your sons. Glad it worked out so well.

I was in the end zone of the nose bleed section at the Colosseum in '87 or '88 watching the Fins go off in the 2nd Qtr to beat The Raiders. Brings back good memories

I Was there also!!! Beautiful blue sky, non smog day in l/a.

If your back was to the coliseum arches/pillars, we were on the right, about 2 thirds up just before the stadium makes that curve. It just happened that section was full of dolfans instead of the usual blood in their eyes gangstas beating on the visiting fans. It was truly gladiator school in the coliseum in those days, fights everywhere. I wasn't with my usual crew and the folks I was with didn't give me hi hopes of dealing with hordes of homies and loco vatos. I have a crap load of pics of the stadium and overall game that day. Everytime I go to that sacred stadium I get chills. So many historic games and concerts and social events and featuring the final game of the perfect 72 dolphins.
