Dolphins ranked 31st by Yahoo Sports

we won one game last season... i believe 31st is being generous until we can prove otherwise

I think we are better than at least five teams....we got slammed. :shakeno:

Just look who wrote the story, I have never heard of this nitwit before and thank god for that. Completely biased story.

If he thinks NE has had the second best offseason so far because they lost all their defensive backfield and replaced it with Fernando Bryant of all people, he really must be living under a stone and has no right whatsoever calling himself an NFL writer... Seriously

I swear to god a prerequisite for sports writing has to only be the ability to complete sentences because as far as research is concerned, none of them know how to accuratetly research and form a REAL, UNBIASED, and INTELLIGENT opinion on it

I actually agree with most of his analysis, until we prove otherwise we belong at the end of every list. I am suprised that we were above Atlanta, they won 5x as much as us last year.........That said we have improved, and hopefully we make a big splash at the draft.

its pretty crazy that we're actually ranked ahead of someone after last season.

This is purely an offseason list, it has nothing to do with last season because we are being ranked on how well we upgraded our team from the year before. Regular season power rankings, and offseason aquisition rankings are two different things.

If he thinks the ratriots had the 2nd best offseason because they lost pretty much all their DB's and added Fernando Bryant, he should be writing for a grammar school newspaper

I totally agree. They have lost Asante Samuel and a couple other key players. Seau, Harrison, Bruschi and Vrable are ready for the Old Folk's Home. I would still have the Pats in the Top Ten in the NFL, but not the top two....not even close.

I think we have to prove ourselves before we get any kind of credit. Remember, its not what you can do, its what have you done lately.

Except he isn't rating how well teams did in the offseason, but the teams as a whole: "But hype doesn’t translate when it comes to the offseason power rankings. With that in mind, this is where the league’s 32 teams stand going into the NFL draft."

The only reason is Parcells, I don't see us playing worse than Atlanta Next season. They are in complete rebuild like us, the only difference is we did better in Free Agency than they did. #31 is what we deserve after last season but we will finish higher next year, no doubt.
