The Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens each finished with an 11-5 record, but one looks much more impressive than the other after ESPN Stats & Information broke it down.
For those Dolfans still stinging that I would take a look at Miami's 2009 Schedule, don't shoot the messenger. I'm just passing along the facts.

Combined record of opponents:

  • Ravens .521 (132-121-3)
  • Dolphins .461 (118-138)
Combined record of 11 teams they defeated:

  • Ravens .412 (71-102-3)
  • Dolphins .398 (70-106)
Combined record of five teams they lost to:

  • Ravens .763 (61-19), all five losses were to playoff teams.
  • Dolphins .600 (48-32), two losses were to playoff teams.
Games against other playoff teams:

  • Ravens (2-5), beat Dolphins and Eagles; lost to Titans, Colts, Giants and the Steelers (twice to Pittsburgh).
  • Dolphins (1-2), beat Chargers; lost to Ravens and Cardinals.
Only common opponents (Texans and Raiders):

  • Ravens beat both by combined score of 70-23.
  • Dolphins beat Raiders and lost to Texans by combined score of 45-44.

When the Ravens beat the Eagles they were going against Kolb, not McNabb.. Besides not playing against McNabb, the Eagles had a lot of key injured players out of that game.

Only common opponents (Texans and Raiders):

  • Ravens beat both by combined score of 70-23.
  • Dolphins beat Raiders and lost to Texans by combined score of 45-44.

That's absolutely meaningless.. The Jets beat the Rams by 40 points. We beat the Rams by only 4 points. And we all witnessed who beat who last week between Miami and the Jets.

Nuff said.....

Just a very stupid thread my friend.

It absolutely means NOTHING in tomorrow's game. Nada, Ziltch, CAPUT.

End of story. And hopefully end of stupid thread.

Go Fish !!!

lol im not a ravens fan.....Just new to this forum.

Of course not, LOL I'm sure we'll be seeing you blowing up the forums even after the Ravens game.

Let me post another meaningless stat that has no bearing on the game tomorrow.

Miami was 1-15 last year, their only win came against a nearly identical defense to what they will play tomorrow.
