Dolphins and Brent Grimes polishing off a new deal, as @rapsheet said. Should be announced shortly.

Very nice. Everyone can relax now.

I suspect we can start signing our other players now.

Whew.....

Hickey survives the guillotine for now.

Eaaaaayeeeahh..now just solidify fs, replace whilfer and decide what to do at dt defense looks very solid

Interested to see the numbers, but this is the best outcome any us could have hoped for. We keep our Pro Bowl cornerback without having to spend the $11 million the franchise tag would demand.

Curious how hard would it be to dump Patterson and go after S.Shields?

Bring back Big Paul, Clemons and sign either Collins or Monroe and we are set for the draft.

Here he is signing the contract:

timing tells me all the not gonna tag stuff was bs...they were prepared to do so is the way i read it...good news...can scratch corner off the potential draft needs list...contract terms should be interesting here given the age

Thinking it's only 3-4 years. Going to guess $7-$8 million per on average.
