The Miami Dolphins today waived defensive tackle Josh Shaw. Shaw, who was with the club in training camp this year before being released on September 4, had been re-signed this past Wednesday.

Ok let's get it right...Shaw was just re-signed to the 53 man roster because we released Tim McGill who was later signed to our practice squad. Unless he was out of shape, something has to be wrong to be released after 3 days.
I know a lot of dolfans love this word ---He is a Bust !!!!

I guess that gets us down to the 53 man roster.

wasnt this to make room for ricky?

I think they had to do it to activate R. Williams. They had an extra slot during the week for Ricky to practice, but they had to activate him (count against the team count) if they decided to play him. We also sugned the WR Russell.

I guess Cliff Russell has been looking pretty good.

Interesting moves. We released him after preseason to make room for Tim McGill whom we just released to put on the Practice Squad and just signed Josh Shaw back just to release him 3 days later... Kind of baffling. But we did have to release someone to make room for Ricky and that was either going to be Josh Shaw or Cliff Russell, and like shouright said... perhaps Cliff Russell has been looking pretty good.

This is good news for David Boston if Shaw is the victim of Cliff Russel
