Miami Dolphins statement regarding protest:
"We have the most passionate fans in football, and they are not shy about letting their sentiments be known. We understand, and we are working hard on giving them something to cheer about this season."

Yea..I love how these ppl showed up to protest..I wonder how many of them show up to games.

Interesting, here's what I saw them say:

We are very proud of our season ticket holders standing up for what they feel is right. All 30 of them. Because of their passion, we are offering them the ability to walk on the orange carpet with Mr. Ross. Also, they get to pick the player in the 7th round and will be given the opportunity to actually find a freaking quarterback.

I can not begin to adequately express my disappointment in this whole protest fiasco, I thought we were better than this

This fan base is proving itself to be the worst in the NFL, its a sad day to call yourself a Dolphins fan

Actions speak louder than words, but I suppose mission accomplished. Nice protest. :tubes: I want this team to address stuff like this every once in a while. Remind us that we still matter, and let us know that you know you're not doing your job well right now. I love this team, I'm also pissed at it.

Why? Haven't you been reading how even on this forum "Fans" have been putting two and two together? Equaling twenty BTW.

What I'm hearing is.....we understand your frustration, but please continue to spend your hard earned dollars in this unstable economy and we promise you many continued years of mediocrity......wait, don't go, we've brought in Dan Marino to plead our case with you

I think the protest is rather silly, but I liked the idea of it. Clearly Ross knows there will be empty seats next year.

All of the Miami teams have spent a lot of money and have made major moves to improve the teams. The Dolphins don't understand how the Miami market likes things. They want to win now and quick fixes. Sure it's a fickle/bandwagon market, but you have to deal with it.

I agree with rebuilding, but this is Ireland's 5th year. You would think we'd be a good team by now.

I agree, but PR stunt or not, I am glad they took the time to answer.

I heard this: "We are very proud that we actually still have fans. We thank you."
