Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports reports that the Dolphins are releasing QB Pat Devlin following the addition of Brady Quinn.
According to Garafolo, the Ravens are among the teams with interest in possibly signing Devlin to a contract.
Delvin, 26, signeid with the Dolphins as an undrafted out of University of Delaware back in 2011. He served as the Dolphins’ third-string quarterback last season, backing up Ryan Tannehill and Matt Moore.

Bad qb ... has wasted a roster spot for years. All in all - about time.
 
Ok now I might buy into the keep two quarterbacks on the 53 man roster theory. Put Lobato or someone else on the practice squad and have Quinn on speed dial.
 
He wasn't good, was arrogant, heck, he wasn't even good in college, no clue how he stuck around this long.

Been saying since devlin has been here we should of been using that roster spot and those reps on a qb with upside. So much wasted on this kid for what seemed inevitable.
 
I am just happy I do not have to see Devlin threads after a bad game by Tannehill from now on. They might be about Moore or Quinn, but at least it is not Devlin.

Devlin for what he as was ok. I cant really say anything bad about him. What do people expect from an undrafted 3rd string qb. Like BJ Danials is seting the league on fire

I'm pretty sure there was a poster on this forum proclaiming Devlin as our next franchise QB, and that he'd unseat Tannehill. I'm pretty sure he was serious, considering he kept this up for like a year.

Im pretty sure a few posters have said that but Devlin has lasted as long as John Beck did with us and he wasn't even drafted. I never saw Devlin as a starter but he was ok as a third guy. Not many teams have a good third guy
 
Fair warning... with Quinn new to the roster and Moore coming off an injury we could be looking at a full second half of Mr Lobato this week.
