Notice that the fins aren't just interested in Willie but are "are expected to persue him." He's gettin up there in age but still a solid replacement to fill the void left by Junior's release.

The move to take guys from our own division is always good as long as they are able to still play at a high level...even if it is only for a year or two. Doing so has a two-fold affect--one, it strengthens our team while two, weakening a division rival. Outstanding move IMO.

Saban plaqying a little defense in the off-season, I LIKE IT!

No way on Willie M. I dont want him.

ok there could only be two reasons your saying this.

1. he is a patsie
2. he is on the old side of being old

but dude, it makes the pats that much worse and us that much better, the man can still play, its not like were going to keep him for 5 years, come on, he is a vet, and could help any young bucks under him. him and zach and crowder. is a freaking NASTY LB core

This team needs to get younger especially on Defense. Unless its owens or a monster DT(Sam Adams). I dont want anyone over 30

You'll have to learn how it works. Young guys don't know anything yet and need time to develop. They back up the old guys while learning the ropes. THen, when the old guys get old or too expensive, the young guys move up and are replaced with new young guys.

It's a never ending cycle that needs vets and rookies to work. We have no choice but to get some guys who are up in the years.

As long as they are the right old guys, I am fine with it. McGinest has more left in the tank than Seau did when he came here, in my opinion.
