Dolphins requested permission for an HC interview with Cowboys' passing game coordinator/DBs coach Kris Richard, per source, just as the Jets did earlier in the day.

This one would very much interest me. Might end up a rock star might bust but thats imo what you are looking at.

We should interview as many candidates as we think have potential - get a feeling for whats out there and what young coaches and older experienced coaches are thinking. This is good planning for the organisation.

You have to think he’d be intrigued by minkah, x, and reshad. And the elite interception totals within the group.

Agreed but some quickly dismiss a name they don't like as if they are experts. You don't get the next great coach by interviewing one guy. Interview a hundred if you have to.

How is a db coach a candidate? I don't know much about the history of football but how often does a non-coordinator get a head coaching job? Not counting interim coaches
