Dolphins resign Hadnot?

Free agent guard Rex Hadnot will visit Cleveland Sunday after visiting with the Texans Saturday.
"I'm going to take this visit and see how Cleveland feels about me," Hadnot said. "I'm disappointed, but it's part of the business." Hadnot has started every game the last three seasons.

I know Hadnot wanted more money than we were willing to give, but if he tests the market and is not happy, is it possible we resign him? I mean, he is only 26, and did a pretty good job last year.

I doubt we re-sign him..we had the chance before he became a FA and we didn't eveen offer him a contract. I just think Parcells didn't want him.
 
I'd love to resign him, i don't really see anyone else else that would be a major improvement over him and he's still young and can develop more.
 
Obviously, he felt that he is / was much better than the rest of the league thinks. I doubt we resign him. He supposedly had a real tight relationship with Houck. If Cleveland passes, maybe he signs with Dallas as a back up.
 
why would we resign him? HE SUCKS and NO ONE IS EVEN OFFERING HIM A CONTRACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW drop it he blows get over it.
 
He's not Sparano's type of guard, I just don't see us re-signing him...However, never is a long time....if he goes another couple of weeks, you never know...
 
Smiley is going to be our right guard so he'd have to shift to the left side. We just gave a good deal of money to Smiley, we're going to give a decent size contract to the guy we take at 32 (which I believe will be an OT) and Vernon Carey is still a 1st round contract. I'm not really sure we could afford Rex even though I'd like to have him back.

I still think Chris Long is the pick at #1, not Jake Long.
 
Smiley can play either side. I would welcome Hadnot back at a lower price.
That would give us a pretty experienced line, with some carryover. Draft two linemen in draft and we are set for years.

I wouldn't say he blows..he was one of our better linemen and would be prolly the best option for the LG spot unless you count on Mormorino to start

only 5 linemen start carey first second satele n hadnot was third best thT does not make him good cuz our lg n rt blewww nuts. Pope was one of our better lbers last year, does that make him good?

Pope is good just not great. For his role he does well.

no one said he doesnt do his job well. it doesnt asnwer my question. You think hes an evryday GOOD starter? I'm sure he'd have hit the FA market at osme point or asked to be traded b/c someone would want him to START.

whatevre linemen we have let go of the last 2 years has STAYED JOBLESS. go figure. and now hadnot says he is sad b/c no one seems interested or offered a contract? i wonder why MIAMI fans and the past organizatin looked at him as if he was VERY GOOD or even GOOD. he cna't PASS BLOCK cuz he can't move his feet and he is a decent run blocker with a good block once here n' there.

Mcintosh was given a good contract


LJ shelton will get signed as will Hadnot.
