Someone brought up the ring of honor in a different thread. For those out of state fans that don't know, there is a ring of honor in the Stadium. The great Dolphins have their names listed. To my recollection, less than half of the available space for names is used. I really think there are some great Dolphins of the past who should be up there.

Here is who I remember being up there feel free to add if you remember others:
Marino
Shula
Czonka
Griese
Stephenson
Little
Buonocotti

I think Warfield and Nat Morre might have been up there too. But, I'm not certain.

Some of the players that I feel should be up there and aren't:

Duper
Clayton
______?

Does anyone know if the qualifications to be added to the ring are posted somewhere? Do you need to play for the Phins your whole career?

I think McDuffie should be considered too.

Heres the list:

Maybe D Betters, but I dont know. Apart from Anderson he is the only fin to win the defensive player of the year. i think he had two or three great seasons, but not much else

Not up there. I think that's a crime. I think Morris should be up there too! No Nat moore? Another Crime.

We need to pay homage to our history more.

Of the 9 people 3 are o-linemen...We have quite a few Wrs that should be in there and Morris

They are up there, they went up last year right next to Marinos name. Marino was there for the ceremony.

Well I got my list at miamidolphins.com and they werent up on the site as part of the honors group

All those guys that are up there were the best in the league at one time and played for a significant period of time. I do NOT think it is underused. It should be VERY difficult to get in.

Dont know, why not, they were added during the 04 season. I remember the ceremony with the unveiling at halftime. It was during a Monday nite game last year, cant remember which one.

Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor should be up there after they retire.
