John Clayton reports free agent WR Charles Rogers (Lions) did not look too impressive in his workout with the Miami Dolphins, as he didn't show great speed or catch the ball all that well.

I wonder who John Clayton got his information from, because I'm pretty darn sure that he wasn't in Miami watching the Rogers workout.

Actually I did hear from mexican radio "La Cara De La NFL" (The Face Of The NFL), that Rogers made spectacular one-handed catches and was impresive in the workout, they also said that eventhough he wasn't so fast, but could be a great addition..., They also mentioned that Wilkinson will be practicing tomorrow and that Travis Daniels is expected to play sunday, but Jallen isn't due to inexperience (thats all the news they said about the Dolphins)

Rogers sucked in Tampa too last week for his workout.. Abd right before that he couldn't even make the Lions roster . Good, I didn't want him here.

Yep, he wasn't signed, and wasn't at Wednesday's practice......

This confuses me because Nick Saban stated that it went well and that Rogers is "fast" and "big" in his press conference.

Also, how can Cliff Russell be better than Rogers? :shakeno:

I want him on our roster :fire:

Cliff Russell is employed....Rogers is not.

Some of you guys amaze me. If Rodgers can help this aquad in any way then I'm all for signing him. Who cares if he didnt do well or was injury prone. If saban sees something in him that other teams didnt we have nothing to lose. The last time I checked we dont have any depth if chambers were to go down. We already know if booker goes down Welker can step in but if chambers goes down we wont have any speed at the outside.

I've met john clayton, he is a class act for reporters. When i worked at the radio station in denver 2 years back i was at the broncos training camp at dove valley and he showed up to cover denver for 3 days. He literally has 4-5 different contacts in each franchise. Have you seen that commercial were Shawn Alexander is using his blender and squeezes a fruit and gets it in his eye and trips on his weiner dog and then Shauns phone comes up with an ESPN update that shaun was now questionable for the upcoming weeks game becasue he slipped and fell over his weiner dog? Thats John clayton. Hes good and real profesional and hes had nothing but good things to say about miami this year so i believe whatever he says 110%.

No doubt, He is a class act. Its very true in what he has said about miami and its been nothing but good.

Hey, I trust Saban, but a line needs to be drawn SOMEWHERE on these Detroit guys. Rogers is not worth league minimum, that's it.
