The Miami Dolphins made a series of roster moves Wednesday, the most significant of which was putting 2023 second-round pick Cam Smith on injured reserve.

F*ck it. Just cut him at this point. What a waste.

not ready to give up on him. X was hurt most of his rookie year. He was getting beat a lot and didn't have his first pick till year 2 against denver 2017 during our 12 game of season. This was basically his rookie year since he didn't play. He is behind hopefully he improves. I get the odds are against it but as I pointed out X was a slow starter as well.

I remember you suggesting fangio was a grumpy old man last year who ignored cam smiths talents and we were better off without fangio.
Yep, still true. And now Cam has proven he wasn't worth his selection either. I typically give three years for rookies. This kid is a walking disaster.

Man, my patience is running thin for this cat. He was supposed to be X's replacement and was touted at 1st round talent. I hope he can right the ship...

Don't agree it was true though. As I said them. Fangio saw him every day at training. He knew.

I mean my thoughts on Fangio, about him being a grumpy fat f*ck and being better off without him. And I don't think I ever said he ignored Cam Smith's talents, I said he was responsible for sitting him, which is also true. I don't think we ever had a chance to see what Smith could be possible of until this year, which is .... not much. Just some examples I looked for, don't see anything saying he ignored any talent.

Same thing happened with Cam Smith when Fangio was fired. Fangio was solely responsible for Smith not seeing the field and all this garbage we read about him not being ready. And yes I say fired because he couldn't leave without us firing him. "Mutually agreed" is the same as being fired except you agree to it, lol.

Exactly. Gotta give guys a chance to beat out their predecessor. Smith and Bonner should have been in way earlier if not only just in garbage time for evaluation. It's remarkable how goddam stubborn Fangio is. We all knew the rumors but seeing how it affects this team directly is horrifying.

McDaniel needs to give up playcalling and design for an OC to call them focus on game management and personnel.

Hard to believe that Storm Duck, an UDFA, has outperformed CS by a lot in just a few months. Terrible pick. I guess Fangio knew something we didn’t.
