35 Attempts for 200 yards @ 5.7 YPC overall, Dolphins also punch in 2TDs on the ground (keep in mind this is the Cowboys D which kinda stinks a bit)

RB's
O. Darkwa 6 att / 70 yards / 1 TD / 11.0 ypc (one really nice long run, could he make a push to make the team? this may be too little too late)
K. Moreno 10 att / 64 yards / 6.4 ypc (good hard running, great following blocks, does not go down on first hit like Miller)
L Miller 7 att / 34 yards / 4.8 ypc (doesn't look as good as Moreno but not bad either)
D. Williams 7 att / 33 yards / 1 TD 4.7ypc / (good hard running, Good game overall Think he makes the team)

QB's
R. Tannehill 1 att 6 yards
M. Moore 1 att -7

Now If Tanne could have kept up his great play from the first 2 Preseason games we would have blown these guys out.

The "iffy" QB play is still stinging though...

ryan will be fine. that was a bonehead throw for the int though. you could see it coming. he wanted the comeback but the corner sat. he should have gone through his progression. oh well. thought he has had a damn good pre season so far

I felt Tannehill was iffy last week. This week I think he was just bad. I don't buy the excuse that they were just looking to work on the running game this week, because the plays were there to be made and he blew it on at least 2-3 by my count.

Our first team pass offense as a whole looked bad even though protection was great on all but 2 plays (the early snap and the Dallas Thomas play).

The thing you wanted to see from Ryan is for him to put the ball in the endzone some this preseason. He did it that first drive in the first game and nothing since . . . hardly deserving of "damn good" praise IMO. He's gotta be more consistent.

The offense looked different tonight overall.
It made me more comfy personally though..
Watching moreno wait for blocks and hit holes was wonderful..
Makes me want to keep moreno miller williams and grab a fa
Hoskins made a play when he got a chance.
Clay looked good
Shelly smith looked good tonight
The d held up when it had to. I have to think grimes will be playing 2 yrds closer than he is now
The linebackers looked mehh
Wheeler is solid at rushing the qb but his finish is not always there
He gets cement shoes and cuts so weird in space he wont bend.
Ellerbe looks a bit stronger this year.. But still cant read anything
Delmas takes such bad angles vs slants.. But i like the way he head hunts
Jimmy wilson very quiet tonight thats good.
The d line is so stacked..
Only thing that kills the line is when the Dtackles get upfield to fast vs the run.
Jordan Tripp with the kill shot of the night on the return guy... Wow!! Gotta love the way he enjoyed it more than anyone else

You throw your first interception in three games and the town folk have torches and pitchforks. ;)

Sorry Nubs, but I'm beginning to get concerned. He did not look like he was comfortable executing the pass offense tonight and it was reflected in his efficiency numbers and the scoreboard.

For the first time in a while I look at the Miami Dolphins and think "Hey, these guys might be good enough to win 11 games." And then the QB goes out and looks as bad as I've ever seen him, all things considered.

Not good.

How many TDs has the offense scored with him at QB? Hint. One less than the Bills with EJ Manual.

I don't know, I thought he looked real comfortable for the most part the last two weeks. There were definitely miscues tonight and a head scratching interception, but overall I think he looks better in Lazor's offense than Sherman's. They haven't even come close to showing the entire play book and despite two eggs to end the season last year we know he can have success and put up good numbers in the regular season. I still think he will be better this season, and that is following a season where he out dueled head to head the likes of Rivers, Brady and Big Ben.

I am not really concerned with Tannehill at this point. There are other spots on this team I am more worried about, QB is one of the last for me.

To be fair, the Bills offense looked far worse than ours did. They got two touchdowns late in the 3rd quarter after the Bucs put in their second and third string players. CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson were still out there getting carries with 4minutes to play in the 3rd.

But don't take that as a defense of our first team offense. 3 points in 5 drives against a very bad Cowboys defense is absolutely pitiful. Preseason or not, I think that's reason for concern.

Tannehill led drives of 75 yards, 49 yards, 47 yards and 69 yards.

First drive ended in three points. Second drive was looking great and then fumbled away by Sims. Third drive was a 3 and out. Fourth drive, team was heading down the field with Wallace picking up a first down, but a penalty pushed us to 3rd and 10 and then the O-Line didn't know the snap count and killed the drive. Last drive, Tannehill threw a bad pass.

Would I have liked to see more points by the first team offense? Sure. Does it worry me? No, because some of the stalls in the drives were due to mental errors (penalty, snap count) that can hopefully be cleared up (and hopefully its Clay catching that pass and not Sims in the regular season).

Outside of that, we worked on the run game and showed a huge improvement, as well as took a top 10 offense and held them to 6 points. You can doom and gloom over T-hill if you want, but I am very much looking forward to this year.
