Dolphins/Saints in San Antonio?

How far is Houston and Dallas from San Antonio?

well i guess i should chime in here since i'm one of two San Antonians on this board...

i hope they get a chance to play here - the Alamodome is a nice facility that the Spurs used to play at until SBC built the SBC center which is nicer, bigger, and has more capacity. The Alamdodome is kind of small for a NFL football field stadium, but will get the job done.

There is NO chance whatsoever that the team relocates here permanently. I do not see that happening - too much politics behind that.

Besides, the "indigenous" people here aren't much for NFL fans.... the Spurs are the thing down here, and every other car has a damn spurs sticker on its back window. They love their Spurs down here.

I personally don't care for them. But it would be nice to be able to watch a Dolphins game in person for the first time in ten years. I know if they do come, myself and Yardman13 will be at the game with Jerseys on... Just look for probably the ONLY aqua and white jerseys in the house ;)

Even though I have to DJ the night before in Dallas, I will be taking a flight first thing in the morning to San Antonio if this game takes place there. There's no way i'm missing that.

San Antonio is about 4 hours away from Dallas, Houston is 5 Hours from Dallas.

This would be awesome.. it would be the first time I have gotten to see the Dolphins play since they beat the Oilers in the astrodome MANY years ago..

I still remember Zach returning an INT for a touchdown.. I hope this is true because I would love to go to the game.

Its like 2 hours from Houston to San Antonio.. I can get to Dallas in like 3 1/2 hours

Either way, I will be going to San Antonio for the game if this is true and they are playing there..

Driving the speed limit

San Antonio to Houston = ~3 hours
(contracted in Houston and made this drive every week for about 2 years)

San Antonio to Dallas = ~4.5 hours
(lived in Dallas for the past 5 years until 3 weeks ago, made this drive many times to come back to SA to visit family and friends)

I dunno bout that man, its never taken much longer than 2 hours to get to San Antonio, BUT, I think my hometown is a little closer thats why..

And yes, I drove like 90+ on my way to Dallas so I know that number is slower for those who chose to drive slower

I just wanted to see how far the team would be from the others in the state. But I guess it doesn't matter since Oak/SF play about 30 mins from each other.

From East side of SA to Katy is about ~2.5 hours (~2 at about 85-90 MPH)

From West side of SA to North Dallas is exactly 3 hours if you go an AVG of 100+ MPH (don't ask :p )
