Some analysts believe Illinois' Vontae Davis, considered the draft's second-best cornerback, could slip to Miami's range ( Mel Kiper has the Dolphins picking him 25th). The Dolphins will travel this week for private on-campus workouts with Davis, Rutgers receiver Kenny Britt, South Carolina tight end Jared Cook, and Southern California linebacker Clay Matthews Jr. and defensive end Kyle Moore.

Im loving it, I have been saying Miami really really likes Jared Cook and behold. Nice to see Kenny Britt there along with Davis and Matthews. My dark horse is Kyle Moore I had not heard Mimai being interested in him.

He would be a decent 3rd or 4th round pick, but I certainly hope they are not considering Moore as a first day pick.

Kyle Moore is projected to go in the 4th round. I think we could narrow our first to Clay Mathews, Connor Barwin, Vontae Davis and Hakeem Nicks.

If we were to go Vontae in the 1st and Britt in the 2nd, I wouldn't mind Moore at the end of the 2nd, although I would prefer him in the 3rd.

Guys Moore is projected to go in the 4th round no need to reach. I think Miami will likely go OLB and CB or CB and OLB. If we go OLB and CB my picks are Clay Matthews and Sean Smith, but if we go CB and OLB. I we draft Vontae Davis in the first and go Cody Brown in the second.

Doesn't Davis have a checkered past?

Vontae was benched in 2008 by Illini coach Ron Zook, opening questions regarding his work ethic.

Perhaps it's a trait that runs in his family?
