PFF is doing a series of articles on a team's secret superstar. The term superstar is overstated but, it is picking one player on each team who will have an impact on the team after having little or none last year because of injury, youth, etc. They have not gotten to the Dolphins yet.

So, we can make our choice, and compare to what they have to say later. Who is your choice?

I'll go with Jamar Taylor, if he stays injury free, I think he'll take over the #2 CB spot because I don't trust Finnegan to hold that spot down.

Cameron Wake is the obvious choice. Also, Reshad Jones shakes off a down year and has a monster season.

I'd say Jordan even though he had some impact last year with a couple sacks. They finally figure out how to use him effectively and he lives up to his high draft pick status.

Last year it was Clay...
This year I would expect Jamar Taylor to be the guy.. If not than Jordan

I am not sure if this would be considered a secret or not (especially for avid Dolphins fans) but I am gonna go with Olivier Vernon. I bet he is an absolute terror this year given his 2013 season and the fact he is still young / learning

This is too easy. Our number 2 draft pick is a player. Our offense is going to feature multi wide out sets. He is going to thrive latter part of season. Secret Superstar : Jarvis Landry. 2014 prediction, 45 receptions, 550 yards with 6 TDS. Let's see how close I am.

A lot of good choices but I'm going with...

Will Davis

He has swag. He has ball skills. From the little I saw he has some natural ability but was raw. He has Grimes, Finnegan and most importantly Coyle to learn from. I think our entire secondary is going to be solid, even Taylor who will have a hard time seeing action barring injury.

Ummm, not sure if this is a legal choice or not, but you said "the team's secret superstar" ... and I didn't see the word player in the OP.

But if it is legal, my prediction would be Lazor. I definitely think he will have the biggest impact on our team compared to last year.

The player we NEED to be the breakout superstar hands down is Tannehill.

There is a ton of potential on this team. Hopefully the coaching staff can extract it. Players who I think could break out are Mitchell, Jordan, Taylor, Gibson, Landry & of course the prior mentioned Tannehill.

Rishard Matthews. He's entering that 3rd year so hopefully he can substantially improve. I like Vernon a lot but I would say last year was his "secret" year, he played very well.
