Im ok with this. Started 16 games in a season , healthy and competent. Good depth with position flexibility

It would have to be. Walton isn't really a guard and pounce is starting at center.

For what it's worth PFF absolutely hates him year in and year out. Brutal grades. No guard experience.

The veteran struggled at times during the season, and was constantly being pushed into the backfield. Walton finished with a -19.6 grade by Pro Football Focus, third-worst among the 41 centers graded.

At least be cheaper than Satele. Why is he listed as C/G if he has no guard experience? Doesn't make sense. If he's strictly a backup C maybe he's the fallback if we are forced to move Pouncey back to G this year
