Dolphins sign radio rights deal with WQAM

This was all but confirmed by the death of the finsiders, but it is now official

Why the heck did they ever leave WQAM?


Side-note and strange:
For many years I was an avid WQAM listener, Neil Roger, Hank Goldberg,Mad Dogg 1st team etc going forward. Defoe, Steve and Joe split up, Big O left, Neil and mad Dog died. Big O came back and just like that I stopped listening and haven't since.

Tho prob not the worst ever as I hear that Chris Perkins used to have a radio job in Miami

I miss the finsiders. I'd download the show every night on my phone and listen to it the next day at work. I can only take so much Dan Patrick and Rich Eisen!

Can we finally get rid of Cefallo as play-by-play? He is just awful in that role. It's not like I listen to the radio broadcast much anymore, but I used to listen to it over the TV announcers back when it was Maddog and a more professional play-by-play guy.

Why? You don't like the grunting and, "GOT A RECEIVER!" calls? Even though he doesn't say which receiver caught the ball most times?

This. I like Jimmy Cefalo a lot, but he's TERRIBLE at PBP. Bring back Bill Zimpfer.

This. I like Jimmy Cefalo a lot, but he's TERRIBLE at PBP. Bring back Bill Zimpfer.

Cefalo is a color guy hamfisted into a play-by-play role. They essentially have 3 color guys in the booth. Griese is a waste of space at this point too. They should start fresh and pair Joe Rose with a professional play-by-play guy. I thought they were grooming Jesse Agler for that role, but then he left to San Diego.
